COVID Stories and Legislative Delegation Meetings

Share your COVID stories

If you or someone you know had any significant memories or events during COVID, please submit your story to covidstoriesarchive.org. This site was created by a historian so “the archives will be made available, free of charge, to researchers, journalists, historians, scholars, students, etc.” (Full disclosure, my wife is a co-founder of the archive.)

If you’re active in any medical freedom conferences, even if you just plan to attend one of them, reach out through the Contact page on the COVID Stories site to help them gather stories. You don’t have to do formal interviews or anything… just pass out flyers to make people aware of the project.

Legislative Delegation Meetings

We just went to the Alachua County Legislative Delegation meeting. It was a parade of every leftist activist group with not a single conservative group or individual presenting. Some groups, like the anti-gun Moms Demand Action, showed up with a group of people all wearing matching t-shirts. Sadly, there was no one there to stand for healthcare freedom, parental rights, removing grooming and ESG from schools, dealing with repeat criminals, getting mentally ill people off the streets, etc. Everyone there was either looking to take your tax dollars for more free stuff for themselves or to reduce your liberties because you don’t live your life the way they want you to.

I feel like I let the team down by not having prepared talking points for people to attend these meetings. I’d love to have something like this page from Destinations Florida (a tourism advocacy site… must be nice to have a paid staff). I checked with Florida Freedom Keepers and Moms for Liberty and didn’t see any prepared talking points.

Here’s the delegation schedule. I left the older ones so you can see your county if you missed it. These come from cdn.ymaws.com and The Arc of Florida (italicized counties)… you’d think the list would be easy to find on the House or Senate pages, but it’s not. If you don’t see your county, contact your state representative’s office and ask about legislative delegation meetings.
